INSIGHTS

Perhaps there should be an ‘I’ in TEAM

Hi All

I hope you’ve had a great week!

The energy (and banter) this week has been awesome. From bell rings to the Fitbit challenge to generally just helping each other where ever we can. What I see is an incredible team spirit.

But what exactly is team spirit? Overall I think it is winning together and on a micro level it comprises of so many important everyday behaviours. But one thing is for sure, like anything, team spirit is made up of each member of the team taking personal responsibility for their individual contribution.

Our team is made up of every one of us. What we as individuals contribute (or takeaway) from the team forms our spirit.

No team should be as the result of one person and one person should not be held up by the team. However one person can change the dynamic and strength of the team which is why it’s up to each of us to make us who we want to be.

What I am watching as we evolve as a team is everyone playing their part. Everyone taking responsibility for being worthy of the team.

It is incredible to watch, to be a part of, to feel. I thank you all from the centre of my heart for the individual commitment and participation you are each making in our team.

Have a love filled weekend.
